This summer, I'm packing my 79 VW bus and take a little time to mount Wheel 66. I want to take a few more days (actually intend to spend at least two or three months there) to see all you can. It has always been my sleep. I'm in Colorado, then I think to take Interstate Cali. and begin in Santa Monica. Is closer than the IL. Have you ever walked the path Mother? What I do not miss out on all the circumstances? What are the reliable cards / book / website that I can use to help plan my trip? What kind of things that are not prepared? Any advice or stories, all is appreciated!
Hey, it looks like you'll have a fun time. I did everything Route 66 a few years ago. The best or the worst of the trip was the food. For many great places to eat on the way and I think I ate all. Here is a Route 66 site with more information Rt66.
